I am helping a friend set up Xlink in an apartment which provides Internet access. So far we have had no luck getting xlink kai working. Presumably, UPnP is not enabled on the router and there is no way for him to get access to to change that or do any port forwarding. Is there an Xlink build using websockets instead of Berkeley sockets or something that would not require the user to mess with router settings? If you have any suggestions for this case that would be great! At this point I am leaning towards setting up a VPN tunnel for him to go through my network so that I can forward him the traffic. There just has to be a better way!
