Hello,

I am currently trying to use the kaiengine.exe (web browser version) and whenever I click on the icon and give it permission, a little box appears (before the actual log in) and says

Authentification Required
http://127.0.0.1:34522 requires username and password.
Username ______________
Password ______________

can anyone help me figure this out?

Hi there, try typing in your Xtag and password.

Also, may I ask which operating system you are using?

Could you post a screenshot? Do you have any antivirus or
firewalls enabled besides the ones included in windows 10?
It sounds like it may be a security feature on the router in my
Opinion.

Sounds like you have WebUI password protected. You can recovery it by pressing Windows Key+R then type in %appdata%/XLink Kai then press enter. Found kaiUserConfig.txt and click on it. Then look for "kaiHTTPPassword=". You should see the password then if you want to remove it just replace it with ! and click File then Save.
