On Socom CA after you put Manual IP info in...It is now asking for primary and secondary DNS???Wont let you past the screen either. I thought he may be doing something wrong but i tried myself...and same thing....I just setup my Xlink also about a week ago. did not have these problems...how did this change? and if possible...how do i get around this screen.. for you guys that already have a network edited id suggest you back it up...till we figure out what this is about. help would be appreciated.

Hi,
The DNS values can be any valid IP address that allows recursive lookups, in most cases, you only need to enter a single IP which is that of your router and/or modem. Depending on the model of the hardware you have, this can vary but the most common IP's are:
10.0.0.1
192.168.0.1
192.168.1.1
This IP is the same one that gives you access to configure your router or modem. The easiest way to work out which one you need to by looking at another device which will more than likely be using DHCP and have it's DNS assigned automatically.
