My setup is as follows: OG Xbox to Laptop with Cat6 cable. Xlink Kai is operating and running on my laptop, but when I choose "System Link" in my halo 2 menu I get the "Sorry, we could not detect.." message.
I had it running about 2 years ago on a netbook with a different cable. Wondering if the issue is:
-the Cat6 cable (which I was told is basically the same as Cat5e, only better insulation?) Probably not
-Firewall issues
-Need to install some additional software, like DirectX or something :S??
