Boyfriend's Kai Engine starts and then closes immediately

Brief description of your network setup:ZyXEL VMG4381-B10A, PC is connected wirelessly
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? Windows firewall, Kai has been allowed through it.
Operating System? Windows 10
Problem description? Whenever my boyfriend tries to start the Kai engine, it closes straight away. His IP is static, his ports have been forwarded. The program is allowed through Windows firewall. We've even tried enabling UPnP. Nothing has worked.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

The issue was resolved by installing WinPCap.
