If Gran Turismo 3 is supported, then I will be playing that all day. Haven't seen any info on that though. |

GT3 uses iLink not Ethernet.
AFAIK, Timesplitters 2 and Midnight Club 2 are Ethernet system-link and can be played...
There's probably more that we don't know about |

Oh yeah, thats right. GT3 does use I-Link. But their has to be a way to some how have a little cable converter or something like that.
I'm not bashing this program or anything becuase I will be using it for Xbox, but, what is the point of using this program for ethernet based games for ps2? If the game supports eithernet, then doesn't it let you play online already without a monthly fee? |

For the sake of this concept, Twisted Metal Black Online also supports playing on LAN, theoretically would work with this system. |

Gran turismo is I-link, but I-link is firewire so you can connect the PS2 to the PC by firewire, I have a lead from connecting DV cameras to the PC I tried it with the PS2 and it did bring up the installation wizard, so is Xlink able to use the I-link to firewire method instead of Lan. If not couldn't someone create the drivers for it because the pc and ps2 should be able to communicate this way. But gran turismo might lag as it might need a much faster connection. |

because it works, and as far as i know, it wasent that difficult for TD to update the code so that PS2's work on kai. (but he is a genius)
just see it as an alternative, just like a lot of people pay the subscription to play on Live! on the xbox, but mainly play here. |

And, let's say that you bought the original game and and you're taking your ps2 with you to a friend. Since you don't want to damage your original game, you make a backup (just for yourself) of the original game you already own. Now you could play you back up online using Kai. This is otherwise not possible.
