looking for Unreal players

Nah thats a little odd - but I wouldnt worry - if you can join, you can host.

I'll take a look into it to see if its something which needs fixing - but you should be able to host just fine.

Thanks TD, BTW this is the only game that does this.
i can't wait to play this with this many people.
Just out of curiosity, how many here have the communicator?

EDIT: I played a game earlier with some guys so all is good, just wondered why it does this.

I'm gonna be on tonight sometime after 7pm (gmt -5:00). If anyone sees me, send a message and/or go to the unreal arena.. if i'm the only one in there, the chances are I'm running a server playing against a bunch of bots. Rolling Eyes

You can wait untill I notice the message (pc is in the same room) or just join the server.

@M3ATW0D: Sorry I left probably just before you came on.. got tired of playing against bots! I'm definitely coming on Friday, although I have to work untill 7pm EST. Thinking of calling in sick though; I haven't decided yet Wink

Wednesday I will be available all day. So I'll probably just keep Kai running as well... Anyone that notices i'm on please PM me and lets get some games going!!

Well, wouldn't you know that as soon as I finished writing the above that I noticed M3ATW0D had a server running in the Unreal arena. So we played a few of games of TDM, my girlfriend and I playing on a split-screen. That was really sweet.. Absolutely NO lag at all on my end with M3ATW0D hosting.
We're playing again Wednesday evening (I'll most likely be playing on and off all day). There was also some talk about forming a clan.

So hopefully this week we can get some really BIG games going. Very Happy

Riao,
I was messing with the new XLink Kai on Avalaunch so I don't have GUI to chat with, only the headset now, anyway, It was fun to play again, no lag!!!
I had to leave because I gotta get up early tomorrow, anyway see ya in the arena on Wed.

I downloaded the latest Avalaunch today to try it out as well. It was pretty cool, a fanatstic update! But to tell the truth, the Kai integration wasn't quite what I was expecting. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I can only see games that I have on the hard drive from the games menu. If I want to see the population of other arenas (for games that I have on disk, and not on the HD) it appears that I must continue to browse the arenas from my PC.
So for now I think I'll be using the standard Kai UI.

If I'm missing something, your input would be appreciated Very Happy

Riao, sorry I wasn't in the arena tonight, I had an HDD fail on my linux box and spent the day getting a new hdd and getting it back online. Anyway, when you highlight a game on your xbox press start and go to XLink Arena you can then change arenas add users etc...
use the d-pad to move through the arenas.
I may be on tomorrow evening (the arena) so if your around maybe we can get another game going.

jsut wanna say that that was a cracking game last night(16th) playing Tr1pleThr34t and i think Riao was on with lemonade too - ace!!. That was the first time i played UC online- what a laugh! cant wait for tomorrow, should be good.
Are we gonna try out the different game modes? or just deathmatch it until our eyes sting Wink
