for one, it only uses the wifi protocol for it's multiplayer

secondly it gives you the MAC address in the system settings.

Extremely promising - is all I have to say. If this holds true, in the way I hope it will - this will be trivial.

Secondly, I cant tell - but do you have a PSP?? If so, you're my new best friend... lol.. MSN me on flat235@hotmail.com

I fact, ignore that - it will work over Kai, with minimal effort.. if that's a real MAC address, you can tunnel it *right now* using Kai..

It even has wireless game sharing like the Nintendo DS

Looking at those screens, you will be able to play on Kai with it the minute you get it on your hands.. shame nintendo are making me jump through hoops to get the DS online.. no problem though - i like hoops.. hoops are fine..

Glad you like hoops... Because you do realise, that the next consoles are going to be rings set on fire don't you?

Damn with the PSP supporting KAI online now I face a quandary... The DS or the PSP? Think I'll go with the DS even though the PSP looks nicer I think the DS will have the better games Smile

Mario`s cool dont get me wrong, and nintendo are the giants of the handheld platform.

Can sony compete? the games always make or break any platform.Trust me, i owned a sega saturn during the sony ps revoultion. lol.

You lose all respect with the general population by saying "adult games"... Just for future reference.

I sorta see both sides there..

Yeah - Nintendo makes a hell of a lot if kiddy crap - I've never really been a mario fan - but they also do some awesome stuff for adults - look at Eternal Darkness - best game on any of the 3 current consoles imo... pure genius..

I dunno about losing respect.. Ninty certainly has a different target demographic - and yes , i suppose you could call it "kiddy" - but people like different things. I know a lot of people who like the kiddy games even though they are adult - they're often addictive, fun games.

Myself, I'm all about the driving games - which lead me to the xbox in the first place.. but hey - if we all liked the same stuff, we wouldnt be here having this conversation.

Yah agree with you TD.

All i was saying to chilin_dude was i prefer the psp over the ds, because i know that nintendo will do the whole mario/pokeman, and all that crazy jap cartoon stuff that i can get my head round. Wink

Im not saying the psp wont do those type games, they will proberly do a few, just the majority will be games i want to play.

The sooner you can look past a games skin, the more you'll enjoy yourself. I wouldn't say Mario is "kiddy", considering the difficulty level is much harder than say Halo, for getting 100% completion anyway... Pokémon is an RPG you'll find some pretty deep gameplay in there, in comparison to other games you mentioned.
