not seeing friends online

my friend was online at the same time i was on saturday night and we wanted to host a halo 2 match, but he saw that i was offline, and i saw that he was offline. just curious if it would be because the ppp network was very busy or what was going on. thanks

Are you 2 added to each other's lists?

yeah, we are both added to each others lists. we were able to play each other over the kai network a couple of days before, but that night we were not able to see each other online. i know he is running the 11-30 build of xbmc, and i am running the 11-27 build. just curious if that makes a difference.

Possibly yes. There's always new things committed to CVS and fixes (esp. in SPEEX department). I'd say both get the same build and try..

saw him online again last night. still have the same cvs builds. still not sure whats going on.

Try delete each other and add each other again.
