First of all I want to say that I am not starting any kind of a clan. this is more of a group of people that can play against each other that are honest and dont freaking cheat. this cheating BS is becoming ridiculous to a point were I am about ready to just quit online gaming period!
and now since someone has posted something about pausing a modem I have now since ran into that situation also. All I can say is YOU cheaters are nothing but a bunch of snot nosed little brats that need to have their ass's kicked along with your parents for not teaching you some morals in life!
anyway, I am looking at finding honest players to play a good game of halo2 with that dont find the need to cheat to win a stupid game.
there is no sign up and the only rule? NO CHEATING OF ANY KIND, if you feel the need to win, or lose for that matter, honestly then let me know.
I guess the only way to battle this kind of shit is for the honest players to play together and leave these little fags to themselves so that they can do what fags do best.
and one last thing people, please if you know of something that a person can do to cheat, DONT POST IT, cause when you do this then every cheater will do this and then, what started of as a minor problem has now grown into a whole new disease.
Any takers???
Thanks for letting me vent. |

If you ever see a SS member hosting you can always join his/her arena...cheating is not allowed on any of our servers and they will get the boot if they are caught |

I just started playing xlink today, and yeah, I've already had to deal with some serious cheaters. It was very annoying. I'm down for some cheater-free games. |

Got to play with a group of Dp members. No cheating at all and very little lag. |

i've only been a few games with some cheaters, the frusturating thing is that it is hard to kick them sometimes cause their ingame names are different to their xtags. |

the best thing to do in this situation is to ask the people their xtag name before admitting that you have caught them cheating. Then boot the one that was cheating and report them.
If people don't tell you what their xtags names are then threaten to boot them if they don't. I mean if they are honest players then they should have nothing to hide, I would guess that the ones that don't say who they are,,, are the ones that have been cheating and should be report for futher investigation. |

Another suggestion that I've seen people run with is to require that anyone joining your arena has an Xtag that matches their in-game name. Just put a little description on your arena that says 'XTag = In-game name or boot!"
See someone in the list whose name doesn't show up in the arena? Boot em!
It may sound a bit harsh but I like the idea. It keeps things clean and you always know who you're playing with. |

Cyberpunk,
Your running on the same wavelength as I am. I have posted almost the same thing saying that maybe xlink should require that your in game name should match the xtag name of the owner of the xbox.
Meaning that if there is more than one person on an xbox then the person that the xbox belongs to should have the same xtag name.
But anyway, good idea. |
