Update, Update, Update

Well im getting this really weird problem, Today I wanted to play some rainbowsix, so I start kai and it says updating engine and all that stuff, then it says restart kailauncher to continue, and I do so but when I start the engine again it starts to update again, I've upgraded the engine like 10 times now, does anyone knows how to solve this?
PD:I "installed" kai by having a friend send the already installed kai folder from the program files directorie and I placed it in my progams files folder, could this be part of the problem?, I did it this way because when I tried to install I got an error that said Setup was unable to upgrade the windows installer.

did you try rebouting, it was neccisary for me after some of the auto updates?

I rebooted but the problem is still present

PD when the launcher says to ignore the crashed launcher I click ok but the window that reports the crash doesn't dissapear and I have to close it myself, could this mean anything?

Just try uninstalling and installing Kai. It'll re-download all the latest packages when you run it again.

Or you could look in the installation folder of Kai and rename KaiLaunch.exe to KaiLaunch.org. Then rename KaiLaunchTemp.exe to KaiLaunch.exe.
That did the trick for me.

Same problem here. Except I installed it. I have an older version of kai on my computer too, but it wasn't installed by an installer. Can someone fix the updater?

ummm well

why dont you just delete everything in the folder and run the installer again?
