Ok, i just got the latest version of XBMC and the integrated KAI/XBMC thing looks very cool. I cant connect to it because it asks for the "engine IP address. Whats that? Do you still need to be connected to the computer to play KAI or can you direct connect it to the internet? (My router just went out). Some one please tell me what i need to make this work. |

You still have to have the xbox on the network where you have your computer. On your computer, you should start the kai engine.. Yeah, that's right It's your computers IP which is the Engine IP. |

It could also be the IP of your WRT54G if you flashed it
Moving to XBMC. |

i just got kai xlink hooked up yesterday i forwarded the port 30000 udp in xp firewall and my router and everything was working fine I was playing yesterday and i turn it on today and it wont connect I know my xbox is connected because the weather works and movies trailers and ftp, everything works I can get on and download updates through avalaunch even the kai engine on my pc says kai ui attched with my xbox ip 192.168.0.3 but the weird thing is is switched it to normail kai use to see if it would connect on my pc alone and it won t it says querying orbital meshes or something but never connects if somebody can help thank you

Check the port-forward still points to the same IP. If you use DHCP IP addresses, it could have changed. |
