Xlink - My First Xperience...

I finally got this thing working by setting up a dedicated PC on my network to run it Smile

I have a pretty decent internet connection of 750k, and reside in the UK Wink

The only problem is although I have such a large download speed my upload is a shamefull 14k!

Anyway, I went ahead... For some reason the only 2 games with anyone playing are Halo and R63? I dont have R63? So, I joined some Halo games.

Has some great Lag-free games with some sweedish dudes Wink

the capture the flag session was great!

A few deathmatches and I was hooked! I did start to notice the lag however on a few games, it all depended on who hosted.

I started hosting some games at around 4am, not many people around at the time you see! It seemed fine, but the guys I played told me over the MSG screen that the LAG was quite bad Sad

Anyhow, its a great system cant wait till its controlable through the Dash Smile

or via seperate program Wink

I run all games from HD so rebooting and game swapping means I would never have to leave the setee!

I hope in the future some people join some MechAssault games! And its not all Halo, Halo, Halo... Rolling Eyes

pst ... get a copy of XBMC and you have control though another programing on your XBOX

Blueyonder UK, its 128k up 750k down (tell me about it)

Oh okay sorry, I thought you meant 14k bandwidth!! Embarassed

I was thinking wow, 1988 speeds! I'm with Pipex, on 1024/256. Very Happy
