It took me a while to find the answer so I thought it would be a good idea to suggest someone pin/sticky this ...
Be sure to use the Project Mayhem II skin in XBCM in order to get xlink working properly.
When I had used the Project Mayhem I skin, I was able to use xlink to view friends, arenas, games and chats within XBMC (built Nov 30, 2004) but when I went into the game I wanted to play (top spin) and selected system link, I couldn't see any active games.
I read the forums for 4 hours trying to trouble shoot the problem and then I came across a posting which suggested using Project Mayhem II skin.
That did the trick! |

PM I is in the CVS, as it's XBMC's default skin. PMII is far nicer IMO though |
