Every time I chose the PSp network in ad-hook, I don't seem to have access to the internet? Does anyone know why? Thanks in advance! |

So what should I do?
I have a computer on the first floor with a Westel router/modem attached to it, on the second floor I have a computer with a Belkin 802.11g Wireless Card. I've already dowloaded Kai and created an account. Whenever I put my Network in Ad-hook mode windows identifies my psp, but I can't acces Kai because my internet connection disapears.
Could someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!! |

you either need to wire the westel modem/router to the computer and use the wireless card for the psp....or you can buy another wireless card for use with the psp, i think there is one for $5 and theres one for $8. search on the forums |

k thanks, so one has to be for the internet and the other for the psp connection. Oh and why is it that when I click "Start Kai Configuration Tool" it just starts Kai and doesn't give me me that window with the network stuff? |

Ack!
Alright, so I've got my laptop with a Broadcom 802.11g card, and I'm connected to the internet through my ethernet jack...
I followed all the steps in the tutorial, but the question is, I can't seem to get the wireless card to recognize my PSP... or even activate at all. My Wireless Network Connection simply reads "not connected" and when I turn the PSP on in multiplayer mode (in this case, Wipeout Pure,) WinXP doesn't recognize the PSP at all. (Needless to say, neither does Kai.)
I know of someone else who has this exact same computer and setup, and managed to connect successfully... any thoughts? |

Someone pls help me.. I really donoe if my configuration is working correctly.. Here is my setup:
Im using my laptop and have 2 wireless network cards, one for internet (dlink G650) and one to connect to my psp (linksys wusb11). So far i can connect to the net and windows detects my psp too. So i port forwarded the ip address for the 1st wireless card 30000 and also 30001 for deep port. Then i configured the xlink conf to set the network adapter to my 2nd wireless card connecting to my psp. On the diagnose page, xlink says im online but doesnt show exactly like the one posted in this tutorial. Am i doing anything wrong?
SOMEONE PLS HELP!! |

ok... im guessing the answer for this is yes... but do i need a wireless card, if i have a router... but my router cant use the firmware becaue its 802.11b, not thelinksys g. it is a linksys b, and there is no firmware for this, even though they are both essentially the same... an answer would help me out. |

Hi, I have followed all the tutorials correctly and my psp is connected to my pc, kai is reaching the network but my console knt be found. I've un-installed noirton, turned off all firewalls. I've narrowed it down to the mac addresses, i put the psp as the real mac adress what do i put as the virtual mac? wap? network adapter? Plleeeeaaasseee help. Thanks p.s my network adapter is the netgear WG311- on your list of adapters that work. |
