Any help please. I have a Desktop PC with built-in WiFi which says its a RT 2500 USB Wireless and the PC is connected to Broadband via ethernet cable to my Netgear Wireless ADSL Router.
At the diagnostic page I get the network reachable but the console doesn't show when I set the PSP to host a game in Ridge Racers.
Where do I go from here? All help welcome. |
Since it isnt Wireless adapter which is in the compatible list yet, I can only suggest that you fiddle with the settings (whilst your Netgear's Wireless function is switched off / disabled - just incase that is causing problems).
Once the PSP has been released worldwide, we will see more and more adapters being compatible but if you really wanna get Ridge Racers online before then - you'll have to buy an adapter from the above list. |

Hi everybody,
Looks like I discovered xlink a few hours too late. I have just ordered a BT Voyager 2100 ADSL router which comes with a BT Voyager 1060 Laptop Adapter (wireless turbo 802.11g card) which I will be getting in the post in the morning. I am guessing that I will need a different card as it is not on the above list. I will follow the above tutorial tomorrow anyway to see if I have any luck. Would the Buffalo Wireless Compact USB Key 11mbps that was recommended earlier be any better? Can anybody please help? To say that I am a noob is an understatement. Thanks |

Not your TCP/IP Properties. Your adapter properties in Device Manager.

I also have this same problem. Psp connects in windows, I get packets, but kai never sees the psp.
DLINK DWL-G510
PLANET WL-8310
WIN XP PRO sp2
Windows managing the cards, or the card specific software.
Auto/Short/Long preamble.
Both cards have the exact same problem. |
