Xlink Bug

Just an interesting bug I found.

It seems as though if I'm downloading a Torrent(I use bittornado), then launch Kai, I'll get a Windows error report saying 'an error was encounted while loading Xlink Kai blah blah blah'. I can post the log if you want.

Its not that big of a deal since I can just pause the torrent, then load up kai, then resume the torrent.

Come to think of it, this may happen while downloading anything at allwhile starting Kai. The torrent/download is probably just interferring with the Kai initialization/download system state and therefore results in an error.

Odd - but I think this is just something specifically happening to you only - if other people report it we'll look into it more, but I doubt it.

this same error happens to me but not while downloading a torrent....it jus happens to me randomly...i have to reboot kai bout 3 times and it works...anywayz why would u play on kai while downloading a torrent...u would jus lag out the server unless u jus stayed in messenger mode Confused

actually...I think its just random happenings too...

the reason I thought it was the torrent causing the problem was because I started Kai up like 5 times with errors, then once with the torrent paused and it loaded up fine.

so I think its just random.

edit: well I just tried to launch it again with the torrent going, 10 errors. Then paused the torrent, and Kai worked the first time. Theres gotta be a connection somewhere

it also depends on wut game ur playin but whatever floats ur boat...usually when i dl i max out my speed so i cant really play online Crying or Very sad

Same problem here, when using bittorrent my Xlink get an windows error.. It`s the engine that stops for me. Not a big problem i never play when downloading.

i have no problem downloading torrents while kai is on .. i use bittornado and have never had a problem .. i don't download while i'm playing obviously but i do just pause the torrents ..
