Bonjournos Smile,

Last night, I had a try at NHL 2K3 on Xlink. The game was fun, but it definitely was a choppy/laggy experience on my end (though my online compatriot said it was pretty smooth overall for him). I was wondering what was your own personal experience with this game on Xlink, or NHL Rivals? IMHO, Hockey is a fast sport, requiring a certain flow to the game play. IE: If it's laggy, it lose quite it's luster and playability.

I'd appreciate your comments. Was my NHL 2K3 experience the norm for this game, which was not designed to be played on the net? Is NHL Rivals a better xlink experience? BTW, does Rivals support the use of the headset through Xlink? I don't own Rivals, but you can bet yer buffalo nickels I'd pick it up pronto if the gameplay is adequate and it plays well on Xlink.

Thanks in advance. Hope to meet other hockey nuts online.

How do you get ea sports game playing online on the xbox? I thought it wasnt going to be until next year that EA Sports is going to put in built in functionality for XBOX live and System Link.

On previous releases, EA Sports games don't support system link or Live, thus aren't playable on XLink. My question is for NHL 2K3 (Sega) and NHL Rivals 2004 (Microsoft). If you are an EA Sports fan, don't expect Live support to mean they will work on XLink, as I doubt System Link support is part of their plan. For the record, I sure hope I'm wrong...
