UK Players - looking to set up a few games of RR

Anyone from the UK who can get online want to organise a few games of RR online to test how it is?

All have to do for now is identify yourself and we can sort something out.

well I'm from the US but since we all speak english I could join in too Smile

. We should all try to have as many players as possible for RR Smile

. I think it's 8 players......
anyway, we should try and have scheduled games and maybe even tournaments Smile

. We could have a main room for the tournament with sub arenas under that for people who are out and just want to play for fun Smile

My PSP arrived today Very Happy

I'm up for some games - look out for me idling in the PSP arena.. I might be testing / developing sometimes though with CPhoenix - we've identified a couple of areas where Kai needs work Smile

Lovely device btw - I've never seen a screen like that, and the analog nubbin thing is a joy to use.. very impressed (i'm usually a cynical bastard with handhelds)..

I'll do a proper comparison between PSP and DS when I get some time... might not be pretty though Wink

ill give you a unbiased comparisons the ds sucks next to psp...

No really, i thought the DS was pretty good but it has too many faults.
bad screen size and the fact that when you get the right angle to view the top screen you cant see the bottom screen as clear and vice versa. plus its just too dam dull.

Also i cant stand the pixalated graphics no matter how i try to ignore them. The DS d pad hurts my hand after a bit, why the hell did Nintendo build a 3d handheld and put 2d controls on it is just ... well !"!!£"%£"$%

To be fiar the DS is not a bad hand held its just that the bar has now been raised far above that with the PSP, i wont go on about that you need to see it for your self but trust me its the best thing to EVER hit the hand held market. The only people that seam to say it is rubbish are the ones that havent seen it or own a DS.

Oh and another thing Nintendo should have played around with PDA games for a few weeks that should have told them that controling games with pens sucks....

do you have to turn psp off and kai, the reconnect to get in another game? also how do i just join a game as i have only connected beeing a host.

to join a game just go into the psp arena on kai and then into a private arena if u want then just go to the JOIN game option on your psp and it will search for people hosting in that arena.
Be aware that you have to try search a few times as its pot luck if anyone is actually hosting that very moment. Unless you know somebody is def. hosting in a private arena that is.

After much fiddling and stamping my feet, I finally got Kai to see my PSP! So naturally I'm eager to get into some games! Anyone who wants a game, gimmie a PM... maybe we can organise some mass games or something Wink

I had mine preordered at Lik-Sang, and mine came on release, though slightly later because of postage.

In fact, I think Lik-Sang have stocks again now.

Everywhere is selling them at premium prices right now.

Wait until the US/UK launch in March.... then pick up a Japanese machine because the US/UK machines are going to have the cheaper Samsung screens instead of the nice Sharp ones the Japanese PSPs's have.
