Links 2004 Players - UK - Anyone wanna play?

I`ve arranged yesterday 3 dutch players to join LINKS 2004 with you,
but unfortunaly not everybody was happy with us...I Think !!

I am confused? Are you saying the people who played were dutch? If so then wow Smile

that means it DOES work over large distances..

If not, then what do you mean? It wasnt a private game, it was just for people in the UK as the game reportadly only works for people in the same local area Wink

and it worked great Smile

But yeh, we should all do this again sometime, shame it can only have 4 players Sad

UK -> Holland isn't that big of a distance... I get really good ping times from UK allways.

I really did think Links would only work with someone up the road Razz

Yes Mkjones, Holland isn`t that far away !!
I see that we had a little communication problem last thuesday !! Confused

Perhaps we can try it next weekend again !!
In the weekend we got more free time to play on Kai all night long !!

We (Lptje, Dragon and myself) usualy play together at someones home !
Always fun there !! Very Happy

perhaps we can get a regular night going, where we play a certain game.

perhaps rotating it.

We could do this for games that people want to play but can never find a player close to them.

Unreal Championship
Mech Assalt
Time Splitters 2

etc.

we wouldnt need to include halo, rs3, pgr2, Rallysport Challange 2 as you can usualy find a player.

good idea,

im thinking more global.

a Global Gaming Club, that gets together Friday nights to play a certain game.

a game sugested by the community.

Starting this Friday night with Links 2k4 as suggested by morris.

I will make a new thread

tbh i don't think a global gamenight will be that cool/possible. Euro only would be easier to organize and thus easier to attend imo (stupid timezones etc, fridaynight here is like saturday morning somewhere els Sad

thats my point, if everyone goes on Friday night and plays that game.

it pretty much guarantees that you will find someone close to you. that wants to play the game you want to play.

So the concept should work whatever time zone your in.

anyway, the proof will be in the pudding
