Getting a wierd IP Address for XBOX if Started After Xlink

Kai Beginner Joined: 25 May 2004 Posts: 2 Location: Canada

For some reason my xbox grabs a strange ip starting with 10.##.##.## but when started before x-link the box grabs a standard IP from the router. 192.168.2.102 is there any reason behind this. Xlink still functions but I cannot ftp into this other IP addres

Just wondering if anyone had a similiar issue.

if you were wondering, try reading a bit about the forums and news page first... since yes others have had it.

do a search for dhcp and read some pinned topics while yer at it.
