Does anybody know when the xbox wireless G Adapter (MN 740) will be released in Asutralia? It's already available in America, but its a bit of a pain to buy it from overseas. Any help would be appreciated...
Thanx |

You don't have to buy MS official one. There's plenty of Linksys products that'll do the same thing easily available over here (although quite $$$) |

I've got the D-link AirPlus Extreme G+ (DWL-2000AP+ WIFI access point) connected to the xbox and it works fine, except with Xlink Kai.... |

guys... read the FAQ at least once
Xlink KAI doesn't support wireless connections.
Quote: |
* Wireless connections from the PC running XLink Kai are not supported. There are many incompatibility issues in this setup and most wireless hardware will refuse to work with MAC address translations. Therefore we recommend that the PC running XLink Kai remains wired (to the router or access point) with a CAT-5 Ethernet cable. However, your console can be wirelessly connected, through the use of a Wireless Gaming Adapter or Wireless Ethernet Bridge. Consult your documentation or manufacturer's website for assistance in wireless networking.

my latop is running off wireless with the xbox connected to the laptop via crossover cable. Not a single problem. Don't even have to forwards ports. |

Yes f.u. that is supported, it's the people who have a wireless pc and a console connected to the router that have a problem. |

The only wireless part was from the xbox to the router, the router has a cat 5 cable going to the PC with the software on it. So I'm assuming that would still work??? |
