Everything else is fine, But i'm not able to join arenas because my Ps2 has failed the auto config
I'm using 600k Ntl BB, a Zonet Router with 2 Ps2's and One PC hooked up
It says both Ps2s have failed auto config when there both turned on
And if only one is on it says that is failed
heres my set up
(Cable Modem) ---> (Zonet Router) ---> PC / Ps2 / Ps2
I have configured Kai correctly from what i know.
With it Using Port UDP 30000 * Which i had to forward *

O Also, My Router Is DHCP
Router : 192.168.8.1
PC : 192.168.8.17
PS2 : 192.168.8.18
PS2 : 192.168.8.19
There the IP's which the router has assigned. |

There is you problem
Set a static ip for your pc, then turn off DHCP in your router.
That should solve your problems |

Just go through the menus and find the option to enable/disable DHCP Server. The menu's are different on every router. On my router the option is under the LAN menu. After changing the setting you will need to reboot the router.
After you have done this you will need to manually assign static IP address to every device connected to the router. |

No you dont want to assign an address to every device just your pc
Leave the PS2's in DHCP mode and they will get thier addresses from kai. |

OK, try these things in this order:
2.) Do you have a 2nd NIC in your PC? If so, connect a Ps2 to that using crossover cable.
3.) Try telling your router to ignore the MAC address of your PS2 (the Mac address is the 12 digit number shown by Kai in the performance panel).
4.) Set ure PC to use the ip you said it normally gets from the router - then turn DHCP off on the router. |
