connection problems 2005-01-02-xbmc will try for you

havent had a problem w/kai @ all.i previosly had the dec.edition of xbmc and no probs..just installed the jan edition and now i have a connection problem..i am dam sure that the settings are right..i can use the pc engine but not the dash..even tried manually enter ip off pc dash to xbox.NO LOVE..any ideas???is there a non compatability or just me.

one other thing when i use the pc engine it connects to orbital sync very quick like,but w/the dash engine all i get is a engine started window.
if that means anything

iv got januarys cvs and it runs fine for me im running 01/03/05 version
try re-installing xbmc iv had ftp probs with it from time to time and re-install helped

tried it and still nothing..did i mention that when using pcui i see my xbox and it has been config correctly..the only thing i have new is a linksys access point for another pc in another room hooked to router w/xbox but plugged in after xbox..

please help do not xbconnect as much.o that works too

i used the pc ui and i see my xbox and it says CONFIGURED xbox-retail only...how is that if i am using xbmc as dash..wat am i doing wrong?

can i force a forward port,i didnt have to last time..when i launch the engine only i get started engine and thats it..

come t think about it iv never joined a game of xbmc only hosted them and it worked fine. dunno about the retale thing (its irellivent anyway) maby its to do with wether your running a mod chip or a bios hack?? only thing i could suggest is selecting your nic manualy in the config tool. lol Laughing

it seams to be the solution to many problems,
