Game not starting in KAI

Hi there,

I've just completed the configuration of KAI on my Xbox and pc with XP.
The Xbox connects nicely to the pc. The pc shows that there is a connection with the Xbox and to something orbital. I can see some online playable games, some chat and the available arena's on my tv.

As soon as I try to join an arena, I get the following message from XBMC.
"XBMC unable to locate game auto..."
"Insert the game into your Xbox and press..."
"to start the game manually"

I tried changing the directory in the XBMC KAI setting to the default.xbe of the game i want to play game. This doesn't work.

I have a XBMC version 1.1.0 of november 2004

Any suggestions?

Is the path entered correctly in the settings? And what TD is trying to say is, update to a newer CVS build.

Yes, I have my games in the root of F and have changed the path in the KAI settings in the XBMC.

I will try to update the CVS build.

I've installed the latest XBMC of the 15th of januari, but still get the same message.
"XBMC unable to locate game auto..."
"Insert the game into your Xbox and press..."
"to start the game manually"

Any suggestions?

firstly.....

delete the old XBMC save Smile

also set your user and pass and the ip of the engine in KAI settings (in XBMC settings window)

then in kaiconfig set your profile to DASHBOARD (engine only)

tick start engine
tick start UI
enable auto-login

and make sure the engine and the XBMC instance are on the same LAN subnet.
