Hope somebody can help. I have an xbox with static ip connecting to my pc using port 30000(forwarded to my pc) on my router but am having no luck.

I can see my xbox configured in the performance tab. I tried going to the PGR2 section in the driving section as there were 32 users there. I can see other users and they come up with ping times, although I cannot see myself.

I started the game and went to system link. I have tried searching for games but it comes back quickly saying that there are no games available. I also tried creating a new game and it just sat there waiting.

On the kai ui I tried sending a couple of people pm's but there was no reply. I also tried to create an arena but it just says there are no sub-arenas in this arena.

I have tried reading the help and forums but am a bit lost. Have I got a technical problem or am I just being a thick user? Thanks

The port is in kaiconfig. I didn't ask if they could see my ping, I just asked if they fancied a game. I will give that a try.

Got it working now - Fantastic!

The problem was with protowall blocking port 3074 outbound. Switched off protowall and all is good. I'll have to check the protowall forums to find out how to change this behaviour.
