Halo 2 issues - new to xlink

I"m extremely new to xlink so can some please help??

I get a lot of lag when i play on xlink, and when i try to join games in the "system link" page, the list refreshes so quick, you need crazy reflexes to get into a game. Is that a problem with Xlink or my connection speed?? would using a fast computer matter?

try playing in a private arena. it sounds like you are trying to join games in americas. Usually private arenas are lag free cause the hosts know what they are doing and dont host more than they can handle

It's called "flicker". There is no fix for this, you can join a private arena as wonicles mentioned and only one game will show up. Or you can try and be a little faster when you choose your games. Try searching next time, it's been covered a lot in the forums.

The lagging has nothing to do with xlink and it might have something to do with yours or the host's upload speed. You don't necessarily need a fast comp, just get rid of the spyware and don't download anything when you're playing.
