Earlier today, everything was working fine, and I was even able to get a GT4 game to work.
Later that day, I go ahead and start everything up again, and now Kai won't communicate with my PS2. If I go to someone arena, and I set my game to Host=No, and go to connect, it sits at the Network Init screen, attempting to connect. Same thing happens if I Host. Never gets to the 'Waiting for connection' screen.
I know my cable is still good, and my network adapter is too, because when the Network Init starts, my computer sees that network established.
The setup is as follows:
PS2 -> NIC -> Computer -> NIC -> Cable Modem
No switch/router/hub
No firewall running
Any ideas? Maybe something to do with that update that just recently occured?
Thanks |

ARRRGGG. I haven't tried since earlier in the week but haven't touched my ps2. Now when I check the diagnostics, KAI sees the PS2 but says "Failed to Configure". It used to say succesfully configured. |

***** SAME HERE ******
Worked fine Thursday, Friday ,Saturday...
But on Sunday afternoon it stoped working for me too in the same way (Network init... dosen't reach 'wfc')
Setup = PS2->Router
----
While trouble shooting I did the following:
1. Exit from xLink
2. Enable DHCP on Router
3. GT4/Arcade/Multi-Lan/Connect
Result = "Waiting For Connection" Screen
----
DHCP Server in xLink Kai is not working. Why all of the sudden?
Please fix this. |

Yep. Same here. I'ma new user but my buddy and I were able to get this sucker to work last night.
And now it just won't detect it. There's another thread on here talking about an update to Kai regarding the SlimPS2's. Kinda doubt that might have anything to do with it, since my buddy's PS2 is a thin one, and Kai won't recognize it any longer, as well. |

Brought up ethereal. I see a DHCP Discover from the PS2, and then a DHCP ACK from KAI. Should see a DHCP Offer from KAI first not a DHCP ACK in response to a DHCP Discover... I'm using latest .8 KAI. |
