hey there,
just wondering if anyone else experienced this problem today (march 2, 05) or at anytime in the past. i tried to go into the halo 2 sub-arena section only to get a message that tells me there are no sub-arenas to enter. when i then clicked on the bookmark star for halo 2, it asked if i wanted to add serious sam to my favourites list. i closed kai and logged in several times and had the same problem repeatedly except that halo 2 was listed as a different game each time (soldier of fortune, rainbow six etc...). i have been using kai for a couple of months with no problems. any thoughts or suggestions about what to do? thanks in advance.
you using your scroll whell?
if i did, it was out of habit and hasn't been a problem in the past. i just read another discussion about this problem with other games. i'll avoid using the wheel and see if that makes a difference. my guess is that this is the problem. since the halo 2 arena seems to be further down queue than it was before, i actually have to look for it now.
cheers. |

Highly doubtful, but could be an orbital missed mesh, but that's almost 99% NOT your problem.
If it's still happening, try a complete removal / installation procedure (there's a sticky in the General Help forum). |

if you use the scroll wheel on your mouse it will put you in a different arena then what you click on... it is a bug with the kai windows gui |

Of course if you go into the Jedi Academy room, and nobody's in there, THERE WILL BE NO SUB-ARENAS. Expand your brains a little people, it's not that hard :/
There's a bug in the UI. Either you continue to use your scroll-wheel and don't resize the window a little and end up scratching your head, or you can fix it by using the scrollbar. |

OK let me make myself clear. If i use the mousewheel, the keyboard, or the scroll bar, it still puts me in the wrong room. I have to keep moving the Halo 2 arena into different "slots" on the menu until it takes me to the Halo 2 arena. So when i said it takes me to Jedi Academy room, I obviously didn't mean that i went to the Jedi Academy room on PURPOSE looking for a game of HALO 2. |

do not use the scroll wheel at all... it has been said multiple times in this thread... if you use the scroll wheel, it will make you go into a different arena than you intend on going into... it is a bug in the gui... just click on the scroll bar, and drag it down, or set halo 2 - whatever location arena you play in, as a favorite, then you shouldnt have a problem with this any more... |

He just said if he uses the scroll bar it still puts him in the wrong room. Yeah, i think you should do the trial and error tactics, then when you find the right room just mark it as a fave.
EDIT: You could try what gabbo did and maybe it will work for you.

1. Resize Kai window (vertically)
2. Don't use scroll-whell.
3. Close or minimize the yellow info panel.
Those 3 things will fix any issues you have with it. |
