Arena/Xbox/First Person Shooters/Halo/PAL-GER-FRA/
Arena/Xbox/First Person Shooters/Halo/PAL-ITA-SPA/
Arena/Xbox/First Person Shooters/Halo/NTSC-US/
Arena/Xbox/First Person Shooters/Halo/NTSC-J/

Would those confuse people too much?
Is it going to be worth doing?

Arena/Xbox/First Person Shooters/Halo/PAL-UnitedKingdom/

So what I am saying is don't abbriviate so u don't confuse people too much

You need to think about the size of the window for showing game names

also the smaller the names the less time it takes to download the arean structure and much less load on the orbs

People aren't retarded... most Halo players will figure it out. (And if they're incapable of figuring this out... how in heavens name did they get kai running?)

how about a welcome message in the xbox/halo arena.

explaining what each arena means.

imo this isent required, as the abbreviations would work fine. if you have halo, you know what version you have.

I think abbreviations should be fine because if people can't work out that UK is United Kingdom, Ger is Germany etc then well Confused

, like Porsj said, how on earth did they setup?

I like the onjoin message idea though. If people aren't sure the first time, they can just join, see the message and know where they should be.

I think the halo arenas are just fine the way they are. Most of the games i play dont really have lag, except when somewon rushes the countdown. I think the onjoin message should have a link to that proper online etiquette post thats around here somewere, just for the people who dont really check out the forums. Smile

fr3d that is mostly because you are NTSC... Less diversion there...

Over here on the other side of the Globe it's a lot more complicated...

This still wont meen people will read it, as some players dont expand the chat, or are using a dash to navigate the arena's so dont see a chat room.

Yeah, people never read stuff but when yuo tell people to stop rushing the timer, I'll be able to say "read the message from Team XLink at the top" or whatever, then people might actually believe me for once...
I think it's better than nothing, but it's a shame there's no way to make things like those messages and the arena seperation stand out more, and be a little clearer...
Maybe the message could me a diff. colour too? I think a few more people would read it in a different colour than if it just looked like convo text Smile

One more thing i would like to know is does anyone have a page that describes Halo edicit?

Or maybe somone can put something together well written out in a new

I think it's a bad idea.., but is has been made allready.
why is the main question.., i mean it wont couse less lag becouse the games are p2p right? it just makes it to hard for me.., i bought the game in the netherlands and i dont know what version i have! i think many people also don't!

lokk on the side of the box that say HALO on the binding and near the bottom it should say NTSC or PAL and also on the game disc itself.
