system: Windows XP SP2
WinPcap 3.01 Beta3

Fresh install of Evo7final first run of "kai config tool" or "start Kai" yeilds:

Unhandled exception at 0x00427bf0 in KaiLaunch.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x00000004.


anyone have any idea on how to remedy this?
