Foundation Map for Halo 2; How do I get it?

Other than beating Halo 2 on Legendary mode. I just don't have the time nor ambition to do so. Is there another way I can unlock it? Or just ftp it to my xbox? I am using evolution x as my dash.

I don't have an xbl account. I play online using Xlink only. Is there somewhere I can download this map? And ftp it over to my box?

Halo 2 comes with 2 months free-view on Xbox Live. use that to download the map?

you can beat the campaign on easy mode, or you can download it from XBL if you have an unmodded box. Just go find yourseld a 2 month free trial of XBL and download all the expantions for all the games you own.
p.s. don't forget to cancel your subscription b4 the end of the 2 months

aight dude the easiest way is co-op. You can do it on any difficulty and you play on the great journey. Make sure player 2 creates a whole new profile and all player 2 has to do is do a banshee maneuver and you just beat the level. You will get foundation.

I beat the game on normal mode. Let it go through the credits at the end and got nothing!

I guess I am a little confused. Is there a level called "Great Journey" and all I have to do is play it in co-op with an accont that I already beat halo 2 on normal mode, and a 2nd account that is brand new. On the level I just need the 2nd player (the new account) to do some tricks in the banshee? What tricks?

Ok, I found the following online:

Unlock the hidden Foundation level in Halo 2 multi-player by completing the single player campaign on any difficulty. Due to a serious glitch in the game (and one that will not be corrected), you will need to do the following to unlock the Foundation map for a specific profile:
Start a co-op game with a profile with access to the last episode (The Great Journey) and a completely fresh profile (i.e., one that has not even started the campaign game).

Fight to through the last episode until the players need to board Banshees to progress.

Have the new profile player perform a barrel roll (both directions) and a Loop-the-loop (stick down and A button).

Complete the game as usual and the new profile will have access to the Foundation Map. Since profiles may be renamed, you can delete your old profile and rename your new profile w/ the new map.

It sounds like foundation will then only be available to the newly created profile. That stinks. Since I play on Kai sometimes with different profiles.

i found an easy way to get the map/..

first u can play the last level on normal

....{the great journey} or watever its called

then when u get to the last part where u have to fight the fat thingies..

there is a checkpoint....

anyways right after the checkpoint u save & quit..

then go back to the menu and start the from the beginning level..{the heritic}

then put the difficulty on heroic .. but wait"!!!

while the game is loading and it shows the halo word with

the light going across,,

u have to quit the game ...

and then go to the menu and there it is....

i hope it works 4 u...

The only way I can access foundation is by signing another player into the multiplayer screen, selecting foundation and signing them out again.
I've completed it on all settings, and I figured it was just a bungie f-up.

Dunno what the big deal with this map..it sucks....its a circle with 2 levels, 2 Mg emplacements, and a few rooms...WOW!

Its another fun small map. Great for the following kinds of games:

1) Rockets
2) Gang Bang (everyone starts with plasma pistols and no secondary and no weapons on map). No shooting allowed, all you do is punch. Its very funny to watch.

I know some people hate foundation, but I enjoy it. And would like to have the option to select it from my map menu.
