Is it possible to connect my slimline PS2 to my wireless network and thus avoid having any cables (as PS2 is upstairs and PC is downstairs)

PC is connected to Netgear WG834G, guess I'm really asking what wireless adapter do I need to buy for the PS2?

Many thanks
Mark

hes saying so he doesnt have to run cables to his PC.

And honestly I dont think you can hook up a slim PST to a wireless adapter cause the net adapter is built in.

I use the excellent Linksys WET11:

You have to configure it by connecting to your PC but then you can unplug it from your PC (and the power socket of course), take it upstairs and plug it in and when it powers on it should reconnect to the wireless network. Then all you do is connect the ps2 network adaptor to the WET11 and hey presto, wired network signals converted to wireless. It works beautifully with my Netgear Router (slightly messier with Ad-Hoc networks).

This is how you can have a wireless network PS2!
